Die RheinCargo-Bahnsparte hat 2019 insgesamt ein Transportvolumen von rund 22 Mio. t bef\u00f6rdert. Die E-Lokomotiven des Unternehmens verursachen dabei einen j\u00e4hrlichen Stromverbrauch von 70 Mio. kWh, speisen aber beim Bremsen wieder 7,5 Mio. kWh ein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Um auf die positive \u00d6ko-Bilanz der RheinCargo aufmerksam zu machen, erhalten die <a href=\"http:\/\/www.railfreight.eu\/dr-ne\/2020\/10\/19\/vier-smartron-fuer-rheincargo\/\">vier neuen Lokomotiven vom Typ Siemens Smartron<\/a>, die in den kommenden Wochen an die RheinCargo ausgeliefert werden, ein spezielles Branding.
