Die Bestellung der 160 \/ 200 km\/h-Loks ist Teil eines Rahmenvertrags \u00fcber den Kauf von Lokomotiven, der im Dezember 2021 unterzeichnet wurde. Die ersten Lokomotiven dieses neuen Abrufs sollen 2025 und 2027 geliefert werden. Im Dezember 2021 bestellte Akiem bereits 20 Vectron-Lokomotiven bei Siemens Mobility.
