Hintergrund ist der R\u00fcckgang im Intermodalverkehr und die zunehmend schwierige Vermarktung der Zweiachser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Schienenfahrzeugwerk Eberswalde (SFW) werden im ersten Schritt zwei Waggons fest gekuppelt und dann mit Fahradapter-Plattformen ausger\u00fcstet. Diese werden gesteckt und verschraubt, was bedeutet, dass sie als Ladung mitgef\u00fchrt werden k\u00f6nnen, ohne die Fahrzeugzulassung zu beeintr\u00e4chtigen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Touax plant zun\u00e4chst ca. 100 Doppelwagen mit weiterhin zwei Wagennummern, so dass 2024 und 2025 ca. 200 Lgns 49\u2018 \u201everbaut\u201c werden.
