Dirk Schwarzer ist seit Januar 2025 Head of Operations Shunting bei Railpool. Die neu geschaffene Stelle ist Teil der Business Unit Shunting von Klaus Hiller.
Schwarzer ist langjährig der Fahrzeugindustrie heimisch. Zuletzt war er seit Juni 2021 Plant Manager bei Voith in Kiel. Zuvor übernahm er über mehrere Jahre Aufgaben bei der damaligen Vossloh Locomotives (Director European Service Centers 2009-2015, Directeur des Opérations bei Vossloh Locomotives France 2015-2016, Generaldirektor Imateq 2016-2017, Service Operations Manager 2017-2020 sowie VP Service Division 2010-2021).
